Access to and use of this site is provided by British Heart Foundation (BHF) subject to the following Terms and Conditions:

Your completion of our sign-up form constitutes acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.

BHF reserves the right to change these Terms and Conditions at any time by posting changes online. Your continued use of this site after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of this agreement as modified.
You agree to use this site only for lawful purposes and in a manner which does not infringe the rights or restrict, or inhibit the use and enjoyment of the site by any third party.

This site and the information, names, images, pictures, logos regarding or relating to the BHF are provided “as is”, without any representation or endorsement made and without warranty of any kind whether express or implied. In no event will the BHF be liable for any damages including, without limitation, indirect or consequential damages, or any damages or loss of profits whatsoever arising from the use or in connection with such use or loss of use of the site, whether in contract or in negligence.

a.	Participants acknowledge they will participate and complete Strong Woman Challenge at locations chosen by them which are safe, suitable, and which Participants are legally allowed to use.  Participants also acknowledge that they participate at their own risk.
b.	When participating in Strong Woman Challenge Participants must comply with any rules, regulations, orders, laws or guidance issued by the Government (including Public Health England) and local authorities. 
Trademarks, copyrights and other marks
a.	BHF is the owner or licensee of all intellectual property rights in the Website, including BHF and Strong Woman Challenge logos, as well as any rights in the Material (Material means all the information, data, text, graphics, links, or computer code or other material published on, contained or available on the Website). The Material is protected by copyright laws and treaties around the world and all rights are reserved. You may not use or do anything with the Material or any of our intellectual property rights apart from as set out in this section.
b.	The names, images and logos identifying BHF or third parties and their products and services are the proprietary marks of BHF and/or third parties as appropriate. You may only use these where they are included on any pages or documents that you copy and use in accordance with this section. Nothing contained in these terms and conditions or on the Website may be construed as conferring any licence or right under any trademark or patent of BHF or any third party.
c.	Commercial use or publication of all or any Material is strictly prohibited without prior written authorisation from BHF.
d.	You may: i. print off or download any page(s) from the Website for your personal use; and ii. copy documents on this Website for personal, non-commercial use only on the condition that copyright and source indications are also copied, no modifications are made and the document is copied entirely.

Linking to the BHF website can help communicate valuable information to patients, medical professionals, volunteers and other interested parties about heart disease and related issues. It is not necessary to request permission to link to the BHF website, although we reserve the right to request the removal of any link. The BHF website includes links to external websites. We receive many link requests and only link to sites which we believe provide useful information that will be of interest to our users. Fundraising Regulator 
BHF proudly works with the Fundraising Regulator, an independent body who set and maintain the standards for charitable fundraising. The role of the Fundraising Regulator is as follows:
•	To set and promote the standards for fundraising practice (‘the code’ and associated rulebooks) in consultation with the public, fundraising stakeholders and legislators.
•	To investigate cases where fundraising practices have led to significant public concern.
•	To adjudicate complaints from the public about fundraising practice, where these cannot be resolved by the charities themselves.
•	To operate a fundraising preference service to enable individuals to manage their contact with charities.
•	Where poor fundraising practice is judged to have taken place, recommend best practice guidance and take proportionate remedial action.
•	To be honest, fair and open about fundraising with their supporters.

Donations and payments
a.	Although BHF seeks to protect online payment details in accordance with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard, the security of such information transmitted via the Internet cannot be guaranteed. As such any data transferred is at your own risk.
b.	If you use a payment card on our Website, you must be the authorised user of the card and have permission and funds to make the relevant payment or donation.
c.	If you have made a donation of money in error please call the Supporter Services team on 0300 330 3322 (Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm) or email heretohelp@bhf.org.uk and they will be happy to discuss with you. 
Images policy
a.	Legitimate Interest:  By submitting a photo/image as part of a Strong Woman Challenge, via Facebook or email, BHF or its group companies and/or its contractors and/or its agents will rely on legitimate interest as a lawful basis for using the photos. The BHF need the ability to use your photographs and films to promote, report on and sell Strong Woman Challenge by means of film, television, radio, print media, internet, publicity material or any other media now or in the future. 
b.	Consent: BHF may request (i) a Participant’s photo, and/or (ii) a Participant be featured in BHF's marketing campaign. In the event BHF makes such a request it will seek the consent from the Participant (or the Participant's parent or guardian in the event the Participant is under 18) on a separate consent form. The Participant may at its sole discretion choose to grant BHF consent. It is not a condition of Strong Woman Challenge that such consent is granted. BHF's use of the Participant's photograph and/or personal information contained in a marketing feature will be in accordance with the BHF's Privacy and Cookies policy. 
c.	All Participants and the parents or guardians of any under 18s acknowledge and agree that no payment will be made to any Participant for the use of any photographs, images or films in which they may feature.
d.	You confirm that you will not submit any inappropriate material and in the event of this occurring, it will be rejected immediately.
e.	Image consent can be withdrawn at any time by notifying BHF in writing, however, once information is placed on the internet, we do lose a degree of control over the distribution and retrieval of such information. Therefore, please keep this in mind when providing consent. You understand and agree that the BHF will not be required to stop using material that is already produced or recall material that is already in circulation, but that you will be able to request that we do not use your story or photo in any future publications or campaigns.
Your health
You are responsible for ensuring that you are sufficiently fit and healthy and physically able to undertake Strong Woman Challenge event. All participants are encouraged to check in advance with their GP that it is appropriate for them to undertake Strong Woman Challenge event, taking into account any pre-existing medical conditions.
Communication
We will be sending email and SMS communications throughout the challenge. These can contain fundraising or event related tips. By signing up and agreeing to these terms and conditions, you are consenting to receiving these.
Incentives
Incentives will be sent to Strong Woman Challenge participants (October challenge only) that fundraise on JustGiving and raise the below amounts. Incentives will be sent automatically to the first participants that reach these totals within the set number of incentives  shown below . A one off donation to our website will not be included in our rewards programme. 
-	Raise �10 on JustGiving and receive a BHF sweatband, limited to the first 2,500 individuals
-	Raise �100 on JustGiving and receive a BHF tote bag, limited to the first 500 people
-	Raise �300 on JustGiving and receive a BHF Strong Woman Challenge t-shirt, limited to the first 500 people
